About Ravi Daparthi

Ravi trained as an engineer, a B.Tech in Electronics & Communications from RVR & JC College of Engineering (Acharya Nagarjuna University), class of 2003, and spent his first decade learning how large software actually gets built and delivered. He sharpened the management side at the Indian Institute of Science (Strategic Project Management, 2008 to 2009) and IIM Bangalore (2012 to 2013).

At Publicis Sapient in Bangalore he program-managed delivery for one of Europe's largest retail ecommerce platforms, Tesco, including Clubcard, growing a delivery team from 10 to 40+ and picking up Sapient's award for best performing teams.

Then came product. As a key mentor to the CEIPAL product suite in Rochester, New York (2013 to 2017), he defined product strategy and built the engineering organisation behind a cloud HCM platform, ATS, HRIS and HRMS, used by staffing companies across the globe.

In 2019 he started Oorwin as Chief Product Officer & Head of Engineering, later becoming President & CTO. Oorwin grew into an AI-powered ATS, CRM and HRMS platform with 700+ customers across the US, India and Singapore and a team of 110, and Ravi grew a reputation for people-first leadership, with core team members who have stayed with him for a decade or more across ventures. One of the platform's automations cut candidate screening from 15 hours to 15 seconds.

Recognition followed: Forbes Technology Council (2022), the ET Global Indian Leaders Award for excellence in HRTech (2022), Entrepreneur India's 2022 awards, and a NASSCOM GCC Conclave stage. In 2024 he started Signitives with Swami Kakarla, an AI, GenAI and product engineering firm serving enterprises across Europe and North America, featured in Forbes India Brand Connect. In July 2026 Ravi became Co-founder & CEO of LawVyn.ai. The problem he's chasing is old: brilliant lawyers losing hours to diaries, WhatsApp scrolls and scattered files. The answer is an AI-native legal platform that keeps cases, hearings, drafts and deadlines in one intelligent timeline, built in Hyderabad, with lawyers in the room at every step.

Alongside the companies: an MBA in Marketing from Andhra University (2026) and a doctoral research programme at the Swiss School of Business and Management, Geneva, on the governance and capability requirements for scaling enterprise AI adoption in product strategy, the same question he's answered in practice for two decades, now with rigour.
